Fraser Advocacy Assist Families Seeking Standing at National Inquiry
On Monday, November 20, 2017, Families for Justice, a group of 18 families of
missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, filed an application for standing and funding at the National Inquiry into Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls.
A successful standing application will give the Families formal legal status at
the National Inquiry and allow them to advance their issues with the assistance
of a lawyer.
